Affiliate Guidelines
LeadLedger LLC · Effective September 22, 2026 · Version v1
These rules are part of the Affiliate Agreement. Breaking them is grounds for withholding payment on the affected calls and for ending the relationship.
1. Only inbound calls a consumer chose to make
Every payable call is a consumer who saw your advertising, decided to call a home service provider, and dialled the number themselves.
2. Prohibited traffic, without exception
- Outbound calling of any kind, manual or automated. - SMS, MMS or any text messaging. - Ringless voicemail. - Robocalls, autodialers, IVR-initiated calls, and bots. - Incentivized calls — gift cards, points, entries, rewards, or anything else given in exchange for calling. - Callers under 18. - Craigslist and other classified-ad sites. - Bidding on LeadLedger's brand or trademark terms, or on our buyers' brand names. - Dynamic keyword insertion in paid search. - Fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, or invented ratings. - Co-registration, incentivized lead forms, and traffic bought from a source you cannot name.
3. What your advertising may not say
- No unsubstantiated claims. If you cannot prove it, do not print it. - No superlatives — "best", "#1", "top-rated", "fastest" and the like. - No use of the word "free" for the service being advertised. - No price claims, quotes, discounts or "starting at" figures. You do not set the provider's prices and we do not either. - Nothing that implies LeadLedger performs the work, or that you do. - No impersonation of a manufacturer, a utility, a government body, a warranty provider, or a specific local business.
4. Required disclaimer on your landing pages
Your landing page must state, in a place a reader will actually see it, that:
- the providers are independent businesses, not employees or agents of the advertiser; - service is not guaranteed and availability varies; - the consumer should confirm licensing, insurance, pricing and availability directly with the provider before any work begins.
5. Calls that are not payable
- A caller who rang any LeadLedger tracking number in the previous 30 days, on any account and from any source. They are not a new lead, whoever sent them this time. - A call shorter than the minimum duration published on the offer. - A call the buyer was not billed for, or was credited for afterwards. - A call placed while your affiliate account was terminated.
Every one of these is reported to you against the specific call, with the reason, in your portal. We do not reject calls silently.
6. Caps and review
New affiliates are capped for their first 30 days. Calls beyond your daily cap are held for review rather than discarded, and each one is released or denied with a reason.
7. Tracking numbers
Use the number assigned to you for the offer, on the advertising you described in your application, in the market the offer names. Do not publish it in a directory, resell it, or pass it to another affiliate. If you need a number for a new market, ask.
8. Questions
If a tactic is not listed here and you are unsure, ask before you run it: info@theleadledger.com. "It was not on the list" is not a defence, and we would far rather answer a question than withhold a payment.
